A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually opened a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Began
Moving to Spain wasn't part of our long-term plan. Like many expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and quickly grew into something far greater.
The early months were intense — adapting to new systems, new routines, and new expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complex than they should.
The Adjustment Phase
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines formed. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Created Novel Window Trail
Most information online was either corporate-level relocation advice or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site exists to close that gap — practical guidance based on real life in Spain.
